No need to gild the lily on previous review/comments - Moontime is still the best ever... just had to comment that we were disappointed when the chicken burrita was rotated off the menu a while back. But... they have now just recently added a shredded beef burrita that is BETTER than the chicken. I literally took a bite and had the immediate epiphany that "this is the best bite of food I have EVER HAD." The differentiating factor is that there is not one, but two amazing toppings. Not salsa, more like "crema" or, oh I don't know. But there is an amazing cilantro, sweet, complex, fresh flavor that is absolutely amazing.Idahogrrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16678371010270357374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6636159147473187753.post-72577048707592305702007-12-01T16:32:00.000-08:002007-12-01T16:32:00.000-08:00Comments copied from post about this blog entry at...Comments copied from post about this blog entry at Huckleberries Online:

As only you can do Orange. Great job. Moon time has great food
Posted by In the know | 26 Nov 5:03 PM

Thank you Mr. Orange, you are exactly right. When my sons come into town, that's where they take me, as they know I am vegetarian and I have many things to pick from, as they do also, as they are pure carnivores. Such a nice local place as this, thank you for bringing it to the attention of those that know not of it. It is one great local place to feel good.
Posted by The Stickman | 26 Nov 5:22 PM

Hippie, burn out, patchouli. You're going to the weatherworn Well O'Cliches too often, dude. Dig deeper. Make it fresh.
Posted by Bob | 26 Nov 5:23 PM

We love Moon Time and its sister pub, The Porch in Hayden. For a bar, it's very family friendly. Where else can you order your finicky child a PBnJ while you enjoy something hoppy from Laughing Dog?
Posted by JournoMom | 26 Nov 5:25 PM

As a hippie from the old days, I do like it BOB.
Posted by The Stickman | 26 Nov 5:29 PM

My wife and I stopped by the Moon Time three weeks ago for a late lunch. It was great, food, service and atmosphere. We will return.
Posted by Wes | 26 Nov 6:21 PM

Moon Time is the best. Those guys have it figured out. They now have three restaurants, and I think they're about to open a fourth. A fairly small menu but it's all good. Classic Pub food, reasonably priced, with beer and wine. Right on.

If you want the best French Dip try the one at Moon Time. Roast beef, caremelized onions, and a creamy light horseradish sauce. I don't eat much red meat, but that's what I have when I fall off the wagon.

Posted by fotoman | 26 Nov 7:11 PM

Moontime is like your most comfortable pair of jeans or whatever. We eat there at least once a week, and honestly never get tired of being there. The wait staff is exemplary and the food is of the highest quality, never an off day. Earlier comments are right on .... they got it right and the menu rocks. And you'll always run into someone you know.
Posted by north idaho old timer | 26 Nov 7:53 PM

I think InlandEmpireGirl and Silver Valley Girl and I ate there. It was all they way back last March, seven whole months ago, so it's hard to remember.

Hey, Sister, if you check in here let me know. Did we eat at Moon Time? Did we like it?
Posted by raymond pert | 26 Nov 9:09 PM

Yes, Raymond Pert we ate there. Yes, we liked it!
Posted by inlandempiregirl | 26 Nov 9:23 PM

The Moon Time/Elk's boys definitely have it figured out. Service is always great even thought there is lunch rush every day of the year. Food is great and of high value and the menu is stacked with great items, not a bad meal on the entire thing. Great micros as well as vino.
Posted by JIMMYMAC | 26 Nov 9:33 PM

Funny, I've always thought of the Moontime as a "He", not a "she". Tomato Street I consider a "She". Great food and one of my local hang outs though!
Posted by north ida boy | 27 Nov 5:42 PMOrangeTVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11510345570999695582noreply@blogger.com
