Zusammenfassung der Oktoberfest Ereignisse

October may still seem like a somewhat distant prospect, but get hip, kids! It's right around the corner and people like to celebrate the existence of the month by drinking expensive beer in tall mugs and dancing to oom-pah-oom pah-pah in their best lederhosen. Here's a list of places to do it.

5th Annual Downtown Sandpoint Oktoberfest

Luther Park 2nd Annual Oktoberfest
Luther Park at Sandpoint, 510 Olive Ave., 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Featuring live music and Laughing Dog Beer served by Eichardt's, a silent auction and dinner including German potato salad, steamed red cabbage, spaetzle and cheese, sauerbraten and bratwurst, with apple strudel and German sweet chocolate cake for dessert. Tickets are $15 adults, or $18 at the door; and $7 children, or $10 at the door. Purchase tickets early at Luther Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Price: $35/person
Lots of great German food and two drink tickets for either beer or wine. The event will feature both a live and silent auction, along with our popular "crazy" auction. There will also be a raffle for a wagon full of liquor, beer, and wine. In addition, there will be a 50/50 money pot raffle.
