Band Bio: "The Cronkites are one of the Inland Northwest’s premier bands. Whether playing at Local Nightclubs, opening for National acts, or performing at weddings and corporate parties, The Cronkites blend music, energy, and humor into their own brand of entertainment for all types and all ages.

Over the past 13 years, they have been a staple of the Inland Empire’s music scene, performed at countless weddings and parties, and have opened for such national acts as Pat Benatar, The Doobie Brothers, Huey Lewis and the News, The Wallflowers, Joe Walsh, Foreigner, Three Dog Night, and Bad Company."

Get Out's Thoughts: These guys have been gigging around the area for years and there probably isn't a live venue in North Idaho they haven't touched at some point in time. They have a rather diverse song list which goes beyond the usual "Sweet Home Alabama" action (although OF COURSE it is listed).

The Cronkites also perform songs by everyone from the Ramones to a Flock of Seagulls to T. Rex to Soft Cell. Wilson Pickett, Glen Campbell, Prince and Iggy Pop will probably never all sit down together for spare ribs and corn bread, but they all exist harmoniously on the Cronkite's list of cover songs.

Upcoming Gigs:
Friday December 18 & Saturday December 19 at the Iron Horse in Cd'A, 9 pm.
