We just received the press release below in our inbox today. Looks like someone is coming in to (hopefully) clear away the bad juju in the building that was most recently the ill-fated Sherman Junction. Hopefully, they can survive the curse that seems to have hovered over the place since Rustlers Roost evacuated all those years ago. We wish them luck and look forward to having some deep breakfasts at Jonesy's. There is a bare bones Facebook page for Jonesy's here, if you want to stay fully updated.
New Breakfast and Lunch Restaurant set to open May 11th in downtown Coeur d'Alene
Old Rustlers Roost location going back to roots, serving up home-made, healthy portions of breakfast and lunch. Tim and Erica Mitchell, a husband and wife team, will be opening a new restaurant, Jonesy’s. Jonesy’s will be Coeur d Alene’s newest breakfast and lunch restaurant situated right next door to the White House Event Center at 819 Sherman Avenue.
The restaurant will feature homemade and hearty portions of everyone’s breakfast and lunch favorites. All the menu items are priced affordably with not many options over $9.95. Jonesy’s will also be home base for the Mitchell’s current business, Mangia Catering Company.
Chef Tim Mitchell has extensive experience in restaurant operations and catering. His wife Erica has been in the customer service industry and will handle the front of the house. The team is newly wedded (April 2nd, 2011) and look forward to starting a new venture together. Between Jonesy’s and Mangia Catering there will be about 10 new employees.
