Local Noise: Flying Mammals

So I've been told recently that I've been a bit lax on the local music coverage. Good point, Midge! In an attempt to rectify this problem, I am starting this: "Local Noise" features that will appear regularly, whenever I get the urge to do so.

There are a LOT more local acts than you might imagine, and I've tried to be inclusive as possible on our Local Music page (also easily accessible on the left side bar). I'm just going to keep these profiles quite simple - just the facts, ma'am. Today's profile is the Cd'A/Spokane trio of brothers known as the Flying Mammals, who seem to be ubiquitous in the area lately, and whom I had the pleasure of seeing play live recently with Goodnight Venus at Mik's. Currently, they are touring Southern California, but make sure to keep an eyeball peeled for upcoming North Idaho/Spokane gigs in July and beyond. Also, keep your eardrums peeled (ouch!) for their uber-catchy single "Go!", which has been receiving airplay on various local radio outlets.
